| | For maybe 20 years it was that band (I think it began with a p)which made some of the best sessions on the Peel and Jensen shows in the early eighties (and you can't say there wasn't much competition). But I'd forgotten the name, and it bugged me for twenty years - even my clued-up music loving friends couldn't help me. About a year ago I stumbled across a Peel sessions site while surfing the web, and it occurred to me that I could solve the problem that had been bugging me for so long. So I scrolled down the very long list looking for 'p's and as soon as I saw it it came back to me....so it was straight onto Youtube, where I was very surprised to see the videos and then this site via the comments. Now I can listen all over again whenever I like.
You guys deserved a lot more back then, but I'm sure you take consolation and enjoy some good old righteous indignation in knowing how good you were. Cheers |
